Prof. Rita Nunes and Tiago Fernandes participated in the ISMRM Workshop on Accessible MRI for the World held at the India International Centre, New Delhi, India – 29th-31st March. The workshop aimed to identify and recognise the need for accessible MR; to outline and summarise anatomy-wise MR clinical needs of under-served populations & to Explain MR innovation processes through examples from the past and needs of the future.
It was a very successful participation with an invited talk on open-source software delivered by Prof. Nunes; the Laseeb researchers were part of the team that won the Hackathon challenge on “Emergency MRI for Stroke” and co-authors of the winner poster for best technical work presented by collaborator Seema S. Bhat  (Dayananda Sagar Institutions): “An Assessment of Noise Distribution at Ultra-Low Magnetic Field Strength”.
